My passion for photography extends back into the 1970s. I love to photograph people, places, and events. I travel extensively and have the opportunity to appreciate different cultures and make many friends along the way.
My background is as a Silicon Valley technology entrepreneur (Co-Founder, Ex-CEO TiVo). That was fun, creative, and rewarding. Now I’m a photographer and hope to extend the creative spirit in this inspiring visual medium.
I am a Board member of CatchLight (www.catchlight.io), a non-profit organization dedicated to expanding the role of photography in visual story-telling. Catchlight awards annual Fellowships to talented photographers and photo-journalists, worldwide. The organization is playing an important role in re-inventing photo-journalism to raise awareness of important and critical social issues.
